Mark Bresnahan

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Mark, and his team are responsible for all corporate and management company reporting and analysis. In his tenure at Synergy, Mark has focused on finding efficiencies, implementing proper controls, and continuously improving procedures throughout the company including the areas of financial reporting, budgeting, performance analysis, and payment processing. Mark also serves as a Director for Synergy Funding, Synergy’s private lending company, where he oversees all financial reporting, loan administration and is a member of the loan committee.

Prior to joining Synergy, Mark was an Audit Manager at Ernst and Young within Boston’s Financial Services Office. He focused on the Asset Management industry and his clients included both Traditional (Mutual Funds, Banks) and Alternative (Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Venture Capital) Investment Managers.

Mark earned a Bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and a Master’s degree from the University of Connecticut. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Society Boston.
