Jim O'Brien, Non-Executive Director

As a non-executive director of Synergy, Jim O’Brien brings over 40 years of involvement and experience in the Boston business, philanthropic and sporting communities. Through his extensive network of contacts, Jim assists Synergy with identifying and acquiring commercial real estate investment opportunities in the Boston area.

Jim is a graduate of Boston College and a member of the Boston College Football Hall of Fame. He founded the Irish Chamber of Commerce- New England chapter- in 1992, and is currently a member of their Board of Directors. Jim has done extensive public relations and fundraising work with the Special Olympics of MA. He has received numerous awards from the Irish American community including the Irish America Top 100 and the Emerald Award from the Irish Networking Society. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Newman School in Boston’s Back Bay area.
