David Greaney, President

David Greaney is founder and president of Synergy. He has been directly involved in the acquisition and financing of over $800 million of commercial property. David has previously held positions in the investment management groups of Harvard University and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He is a member of  the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and also holds memberships with the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and Real Estate Finance Association.

David and his team at Synergy have developed significant partnerships with Irish individuals and institutions and have sponsored numerous real estate investments in Boston. With a portfolio in excess of 700,000 SF, Synergy is a recognized investor in the greater Boston commercial real estate arena.  In addition to his investment activities, David owns two successful restaurants and Irish America magazine have included him on their Business 100 list for the 2006 and 2007.  

David is a director and trustee of the New England Chapter of the Irish Chamber who have honored him with the 2008 Entrepreneurial Award. He serves on a committee of the Massachusetts Special Olympics. He has also volunteered for the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society and actively supports a number of other causes including the American Ireland Fund.

Born in Limerick, Ireland, Greaney is a graduate of University College Dublin and a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts. He currently resides in Boston with his wife Kathy and his son David.
